Do you want to learn more about God,
and better understand what God has said?

Then The Institute's Next Class
Is Exactly What You Are Looking For!

If you have asked any of these questions: . . .

  • I am confused by some of what I read in the Bible, how can I find out the answers I'm looking for?

  • How can I trust that the Bible I have today is God's word?

  • Do I have to know Greek and Hebrew to learn what is in God's word?

  • How can I be sure what other's teach me about God's Word is true?

  • If the Bible is my only way of knowing what is true, then why is it helpful to have a confession or a catechism?

...you are not alone.

Many others have attended the GIRS classes in the past, and found them helpful in answering these and other questions. Here is what two students said about the Institute's classes and curriculum:

"I am profoundly grateful for the ministry of GIRS and Rev. Bob Burridge. I know of no other means locally available to receive as comprehensive an education in Reformed Theology than is offered by GIRS. Bob's patient and systematic approach is remarkably effective and makes ample room for questions, comments and discussion. The scholarship is impeccable and the syllabus is sharp, lucid and engaging. The Prolegomena remolded my approach to theology and renewed my thirst for knowing God."

Richard Lehman, Ruling Elder, Christ Community Presbyterian Church

"Thank you, Bob, for having the Genevan Institute for Reformed Studies. The past cycle of classes helped me understand the perspectives of eschatology from the reformed perspective. The information is presented in an enthusiastic manner and the questions following are also helpful."

On September 14th, the Genevan Institute for Reformed Studies will present,
How Can We Know What God Has Said?

I hope you can join us for our Institute classes starting this September. With so much confusion in our world about what is right and true, it's crucial for Christians to have a good understanding of what God has to say about it. Our class answers the question, "How can we know what God has said?"

There are wild claims about lost books of the Bible, a flood of translations, and widely differing interpretations about what the Scriptures actually teach. Our goal in these seven class sessions is to sort through the confusion, and to lay out the basics which we believe emerge from the Bible itself.

There aren't many opportunities for people to focus on these basics in a carefully worked out plan. I hope you can take advantage of this series of lessons. I believe you will enjoy the fellowship while you learn along with like-minded believers who are also determined to know with certainty about what God has made known to us in his word.

Rev. Bob Burridge
